Putting and approach discs

A putter is the basic disc of disc golf. As the name suggests, putters are used for putting and approach shots. With a putter, you can handle almost all of the throws used in disc golf.

The round and high profile of the putter gives it a very straight flight characteristic. It is the easiest disc to throw straight throws.

Due to the characteristics of the putter, its air resistance is high, so the possible flight speed is smaller than with other discs. On the other hand, the lift developed by the putter is in a class of its own, so they can be used to throw long throws as well.

The world's best players can throw a putter over 100 meters.

It is also good to practice the correct throwing technique with a putter.
